Project

The project answers questions to an individual query to career. Like what to do after high school or where to go for further study or available college. Specifically it shows colleges, admission, applicability, eligibility, entrance exams, dates, counseling and several other career assistances.

Structure

In the early phase it was determined that the client’s KPIs (key performance indicator) were driven by large number of users. So focus was paid on doing things informational and beautiful. By getting every aspect closer together, lot of time was spend on creating presentations, prototypes and many concepts for the site. Feedback was coming like bazookas during this period. Build from scratch backend structuring involved creation of many modules. They were many big reveals and surprises. After putting multiple modules together, a basic structure was developed that provided a clear and distinctive journey of a user to what they looked for. The structure demonstrated innovation in the field of career. Using decades old backend system the structure gave flexibility. Framework included yii 2 for functional display and is crucial in terms of security. For chat systems to work fast Node Js is applied. Users are notified via calendar system making them aware of every update. Paid forms of advice systems are included for user to avail instant information and MySQL for web software applications. As backend collects all the requested information, concerned data is sent to the user. To share data to small or large number of users, APIs (application program interface) play the role of backend translators putting code into language readable for humans. Achieving changes in site, several versions were used to sit between back and front-end.

Design

It would have been simple to make a website featured with information and visuals aligned with brand. But it was agreed that things to be taken to the next level. Been heavily involved in making earlier designs using modern component based design systems, a layout was designed to make the project appear solid. The process used for designing was refined to provide a smooth outcome. User friendly word press and Bootstrap framework is used for fast website design that includes HTML and CSS template. The designer worked to make an interactive website. For interactive design with necessary functionality, the foundation began with color, navigational buttons, check box, sliders, tables, icons and much more. Besides, hours were spent on creating variants in Photoshop. Close to the launch of the project the site was made responsive to easily fit screen size of mobiles and tablets other than computer. The frontend components of site were showed to client in 3 or 4 style guides. The design worked quickly showing the preview of success.

SEO Friendly Site

Search engines see content of a site to list them against keyword based searches. They see links through a link structure that allows them to browse website pathways. For better website navigation for search engines and visitors our content is in HTML text format. Images, Flash files, Java apps and non-text content are displayed with great formatting and display styles. Examples include image alt text, presence of search box and image or video transcript. Title tags have readable description, headlines (h1, h2 etc.) and keywords that all conform to friendly standards of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

Completion
